Welcome! My name is Elizabeth Galafa Ylaya (e-lie-uh) and I love this universal language called MUSIC. I moved to the Seattle area in 2015 and have had a private voice studio since 2017. I have devoted myself to singing (since I was 14) and am lucky enough to call it my career. I am a firm believer that ANYONE can sing! We all carry a unique instrument; no two voices are alike and I wish to discover, alongside my students, their true and natural instrument. I love working with students from the age of 8 and up. I have experience working with singers of all ages that have never sung before and/or cannot match pitch. I am here to help you and to ensure we have some fun (and enjoy a few laughs) along the way!
My formal education includes a B.M. in Vocal Performance from Stetson University and M.M. in Voice Performance from the University of Michigan School of Music Theatre and Dance. I also became a certified Music Together© teacher and early childhood music specialist in October 2018.
